Month's of the year that begin on a Sunday, will always have a 'Friday the 13th'. This year (2013) it only occurs in September and December.

 

The most common name in the world is Mohammed. It is a popular name for male Muslims and is actually spelled "Muhammad", the name of the prophet of Islam.

 

The term "rule of thumb" comes from the old English law that men couldn't beat their wives with anything wider then their thumb.

 

Ants never sleep a day in their lives! Most ants  live about 3 months, some alittle longer. The "queen" of an ant colony can live for several years.



"Typewriter" is the longest word that can be made using the letters only on one row of the keyboard. Try it for yourself.

How neat, Tim! Very fascinating! You know, when I had my flourishing home typing business and later on, was typing (and sometimes writing) papers for mostly Middle Eastern college students (I had about 100 guys who had me help them!), it was incredible all the "Mohammeds" there were...........wow! I remember one, in particular, who I became good friends with......one day he and I stood outdoors, debating Christianity and Islam.............he was trying his hardest to "convert" me to Islam........LOL!!!!! In a very kind way, I told him that I was extremely happy being a Christian, although his religion was very interesting! Ah....those were the days.....and the memories! I think I could write a book on all my experiences with my Middle Eastern friends!!!!!
