My nine cats are all spayed or neutered. They also have chips. Should they get lost, and brought to an animal shelter, they will be scanned and my husband and I will be contacted.

Hi there friend! Awwwwww, how adorable Tiny is.......she looks exactly like our "Kiki" who had 6 "toes" on each paw.....a very unusual, but very loving cat (sadly to say she's been gone for some years). I know what you mean about being in "heat." We have Furball, she's got to be around 17 or so years old.......never had her "fixed" and it seems like she is STILL in heat......I kid you not!!!!! We have a female Labradoodle (hubby refuses to get her fixed, as he would love a bunch of Labradoodle puppies....LOL!) and a female cat.....lovely, just lovely!!!!!
It's great seeing you post! I've been going through a major "burnout" lately so have been trying to "refocus" and trying to slow down a bit.......only go over to our Center maybe 1 to 2 mornings a week now and am trying to limit computer time.......am getting out and enjoying our beautiful weather and am trying to "take time to smell the roses," so to speak......have been working on the upcoming Alaskan cruise, and we are getting more excited about that......trying to get a lot more reading done........life is just great!

Hubby and I was talking about going in our Motorhome, but he passed away b4 we could do it...I have been going out and trying to clean my flowerbed up, but can't stay out too long b4 my hands are cold, lol. So I just do it in spurts, lol.

Have you called your local SPCA about low cost spay/neuter? I don't know if your "Tiny" is a rescue kitten - but they often have low cost spaying even for non-rescue kittens and cats. You might think twice about the de-clawing. It can be very very painful for a cat - I believe they won't do it before a certain age - and the cat is at a disadvantage if fully declawed if she gets out by accident - or needs to scratch her little back or behind her ears...lol.

I have two cats - and trained them not to scratch on things by stopping it immediately and bringing them to their scratching posts. It took some time and training, but it works. They also love scratching cardboard for some reason - cardboard boxes make great toys and scratching posts.

She is beautiful. Don't get her declawed. She is young and very energetic. She can be taught where to scratch. Make sure she has numerous places to scratch that belong to her. Get her spayed as soon as possible.

We just got 4 kittens from the DE Humane association. They were great - they actually fixed all the kittens and gave them all their shots for the first year as part of the adoption fee. Amazing!

Maybe you can wait a little and see if she grows out of her behavior so she won't have to be declawed. I don't have cats, I've just always heard it's a bad idea to declaw a cat that isn't dangerous to others. But then again, my curtains aren't the ones suffering. You obviously care about your pets, so I know you'll do what is best for them whatever that may be.

She's a cute cat....I'm glad I've never delt with animals in heat.
